Lena Welcomes You to her Website. Lena's Sewing & Knitting Centre is a landmark in Limerick city and throughout Ireland. The shop was originally established by Lena on December 5th 1995. Lena has been involved in the wool trade for over 15 years previous to 1995, and owning her own shop was a dream fulfilled. She aims to run her business as a little family, devoting time to all her customers, offering advice when asked. Lena was one of the first people to source unique and interesting yarn and wool from abroad for the Irish market. She stocks all the leading wool brands such as Wendy, Stylecraft, Tivoli, Patons, and the arrival of Designer Yarns including Debbie Bliss, Noro, Louise Harding and also Rowan which are proving already to be very popular unique yarns. Customers have travelled from all counties of Ireland for the expertise of Lena and her team. Lena employs very experienced staff, which are very friendly and always ready to meet the customers needs.
