I recently bought a sewing machine from Lena's Sewing and Knitting Centre and the service was absolutely excellent from start to finish. Before shipping my order, they contacted me to check if I needed to add anything else, which was such a thoughtful touch. They were incredibly helpful, took the time to go through their stock with me, and helped me find exactly what I needed for my sewing projects. The customer service was friendly, patient, and genuinely attentive — something that’s becoming rare these days. I had a great experience and guidance picking my overlocker. I rang and got talking to Elaine and she shared her knowledge and experience and recommended one or two based on my requirements. The process was great I got to order over the phone and get extra things I needed. Recently purchased my new sewing machine here. Price was great and I got a very good deal including some extra feet which was fantastic value. Really excellent wool shop with very helpful staff. Bought some great Ricoh yarn, an Aran pattern to do later and some fun wooden cow buttons. This shop blew me away. I'm not very crafty but it made me want to be. The staff are so helpful and know everything. The amount of yarn is incredible. So many textures and colours. Great shop. Last month I bought a Brother Innovis 80 here, and 3 weeks later I bought a Janome 9300 overlock machine. And I was very pleased! As well as threads and everything needed for sewing. Excellent service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. When I was choosing a machine, Elaine was very helpful, she spent a lot of time, and later I was able to find out more information over the phone. The store has a good selection of sewing equipment and everything you need for sewing and knitting is here. And the wonderful people working there will help you with your choice. Highly recommend! What a wonderful long established family run business! I purchased an overlocker for my daughter's birthday on the website, which was very easy to do. Also the postage was extremely reasonable. What I liked best though, was a call from Elaine to check if I needed additional threads before she sent it out. She was so lovely, informative and helpful. Leana's Sewing and Knitting Centre at 27 William St Limerick City caters for sewing a knitting supplies of all kinds and for all levels of expertise,  from beginner to professional. Staff are friendly and very generous with their time and are determined to ensure you get the right products for the project you are working on.
